A Very Dubilicious Christmas
As many folks know - it has been a year of mixed emotions for my family. Literally the highest highs and the lowest of lows. I had a feeling Christmas was going to be a bit of a struggle this year. But I made the best of it. And as I sit here in a house full of empty rooms and watch the clock roll over to midnight - I have only you, Internet, to turn to and say "Merry Christmas". Which is ok...
The Things You Learn
Larry Summer the former president of Harvard, on the things you learn...
One of the things you learn as a college president is that if an undergraduate is wearing a tie and jacket on Thursday afternoon at three o'clock, there are two possibilities. One is that they're looking for a job and have an interview; the other is that they are an a**hole. This was the latter case.

Picked up some tips on how to take better pictures of fireworks. One place I failed was making sure to include a strong compositional element. I wish I would have picked a better spot to set up, but they turned out pretty good anyway. Next year will be better. Check out the best from the bunch:
Best of 2008...The 365 that failed.
At the beginning of 2008 I embarked on a year long journey of self discovery called the the 365 Self-Portrait Project. Looking back on the project I am mighty proud of most of the shots I took. I have compiled a list of my favorites from the project...after the jump
Pzizz Has Awesome Customer Service!
If you haven't already checked out Pzizz, you need to...right now. It's great for getting yourself to relax, unwind for naps, or just getting to sleep at night. I've been using it since my buddy Matt recommended it a while back.
The greatness of the product is second only to the customer service that I experienced from the company this weekend.
